Our burners will run on almost any liquid fuel; new or reclaimed, including vegetable oils animal fats and mineral oils. The majority of our customers do not have their own oil crops or arisings of oil and so purchase reclaimed fuel oil (RFO) from one of a number of oil collection and recycling companies. RFO is a product made from waste oils mainly from vehicle engines and gearboxes but also from shipping and other sources, which is filtered and de-watered prior to sale. Waste vegetable oil is also available through parallel networks and processes within the catering and food manufacturing industries. These oils are delivered to customers in the same manner as conventional heating oils. While we would not install a system without first assuring ourselves that there was a reliable fuel source, our customers are under no obligation to purchase fuel from any particular supplier.
